Tuesday, June 5th – Aleph Project Youth Meeting: GLBT Jewish Heroes – 7:00pm

Saturday, June 9th – Long Island Pride Parade and Festival
Come to Huntington Village for the year's largest GLBT celebration. Kick off the festivities with the first-ever High Heel Race at 12:30pm, then cheer on the Parade along Main Street at 1pm. Then it's time to party: join us for PrideFest in Heckscher Park from 2pm to 8pm for all-star entertainment, food, business and community vendors, family activities, and much more. Learn more >>
Thursday, June 14th – 12th Annual GLBT Prom – 7:00 to 11:00pm
GLBT and allied youth are invited to enjoy an uforgettable prom night in a safe and welcoming environment at LIGALY’s 12th annual GLBT prom. The eent will take place at the historical Thatched Cottage in Centerport, and feature a mocktail hour, buffet dinner and dessert bar, DJ, dancing and performances, the crowning of this year’s Rainbow Court, and much much more. Saturday, June 16th – SAGE-LI Pride Dance – 6:00pm
Come down to the Center and show your Pride as we dance the night away with wonderful music and dine on delicious cuisine. Thursday, June 21st – Sons of Tennessee Williams – 7:00pm
Filmmaker Tim Wolff brings to life a half-century of the GLBT civil rights movement in one of America’s great southern cities: New Orleans. Starting in 1959, we are introduced to groups of gay men who began to charter “krewes,” the clubs that put together balls or parades during Mardi Gras. Archival footage of the colorful and flamboyant krewe balls shares the joy and vibrancy of these all-gay krewes, and their uniquely Southern protest for visibility and equality. Learn more >>
Friday, June 22nd – Marriage Equality Anniversary Celebration – 7:00 pm
Join The Registry at Bloomingdale's and The Long Island GLBT Services Network as we toast, celebrate, and commemorate Marriage Equality and June Pride month on Friday, June 22, 2012, at 7:00pm. Come to The Center at Garden City on June 27th for a screening of Stonewall Uprising, a riveting documentary presenting recollections on the pivotal moment of the gay rights movement, the Stonewall Riots.
